Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) form the backbone of the economy, and their transition is key to achieving emissions reductions and climate resilience.
Co-chaired by Bank Negara Malaysia and UOB Bank, the SME Focus Group aims to:
Ramp up awareness to enhance SMEs’ understanding on climate risks, availablesupport and transition strategies.
Encourage and ease the process for SMEs to obtain nationally andinternationally-recognised green certifications.
Advocate and provide guidance to SMEs on assessing,reporting and disclosing their climate-related initiatives.
